Autism is a gift


To have a child with autism is a chance a gift a challenge. Those who have never met with autism and also those who are living it everyday might not feel like that. In the beginning of December 2008 I attended Son-Rise Program Start-Up training at Autism Treatment Center of America in USA. One of the first messages that I was given was this: "Between what your child is doing right now and what he/she is capable of is a big difference."

Autism Is In Everyone

There is autistic part in everyone of us. We are not aware of it as such, maybe we are denying it or pushing away as something bad; something that is not acceptable in current society, odd, strange, even stupid.
We may have all sorts of negative relations towards autism, negative emotions about it, images and main believes.
